Michelle is the Director of Member Retention and responsible for WBEZ’s member retention strategy across all channels—specifically email, direct mail, and digital media.
Prior to joining WBEZ, Michelle managed direct marketing campaigns for Walgreens's loyalty program. Before Walgreens she was a Marketing Director at Affinion Group executing loyalty and engagement solutions and also worked at Jefferies, Hewitt and priceline.com.
Michelle earned her Masters from Pace University and her Bachelors in Economics from Trinity University. She also has a certification in Comparative Political & Economic Systems from Georgetown University and spent summers studding at Oxford and at Beijing University.
She lives in Chicago with her husband RJ and their dog Boone who also answers to Boom-Boom, Punky Boonster and the Big Labooneski. She enjoys sailing, pilates and traveling off the beaten path -- she once got stuck in the Cui Chi tunnels in Vietnam. She is also very passionate about chicken parmesan, which likely contributed to the Cui Chi tunnel incident.
